It has taken me (gasp) almost two years to finally sit down and write this, but SO many friends have asked me about my favorite pregnancy wardrobe pieces. My favorite piece hands down was the STORQ dress. I love this company and it really embodies the new fashion mantra I keep trying to adopt, fewer better things! The fit is great but what I loved the most about this dress is that in a time when EVERYthing was changing it allowed me to feel like myself. I could wear it layered with a great jacket or jewelry and I kind of resembled my pre pregnancy self! This dress looked great at 20 weeks and I'm not kidding when I say I actually wore it to the hospital to give birth! I had it in classic black but it comes in grey too, which I think would be great for a casual vibe. AND, STORQ is now making a jumpsuit as well! I may have to get pregnant again just to buy the jumpsuit, kidding.
Speaking of jumpsuits, one of my favorite pregnancy pieces was my jumpsuit from HATCH. This company is spendy for sure but the pieces are so modern and well cut! Below is the jumpsuit I had and it is now on sale! I wore this a lot post baby as well. I also really recommend their dresses, I had a handful of events when I was VERY pregnant and my HATCH collection dress made me feel elegant yet trendy, which can be very hard to pull off at that stage of pregnancy.
I wore these Blanqi high waisted leggings 3-5 days a week post birth. They really hold it all in and make breastfeeding a breeze because you can just wear any shirt and pull it up for feeding as your tummy is totally covered. I did not have the maternity belly support leggings but they look great for the end of pregnancy. By the way, the leggings somehow didn't look quite as sexy on me as the below gal, ha! Also, do not buy these leggings full price, once you sign up for the email list there seems to be some kind of sale and promotion monthly.
